Curiously, we hear that word in a number of ways. Either, we hear it in connection to a subject matter, or the "content" of a discussion; and that's not wrong. Or, we hear it in connection to an emotion - the happiness of heart we know as "contentment;" and that's not wrong.
In a wonderful way, in Jesus & the message of Christ-crucified, it's both the happiness of heart and the source of study we're blessed to know. It's our hearts rejoicing and content (happy) in Christ crucified. It's that on which we stand; that which we proclaim; and "the foolish thing" and "the weak thing" God did to restores us in his sight and bring us to himself. And for it - for it all - he alone deserves our priority, prayers, & praise! So blessed to know & proclaim Christ-crucified!
