There's a strange myth that Jesus only came to save some . . . and that he only came to do "most" of the salvation work; and the rest is up to us . . . and that the Good News is meant for only the "pretty good." But, friends, those myths only lead to misery in life and agony in death.
In reality, Jesus came into this world to save sinners . . . even the very worst of us (See I Timothy 1:10-17). In grace, all of us get to smile that God, though we have sinned, do sin, and will sin, assures us of his loving forgiveness, draws us to our Savior, and changes our hearts to put sin away as we serve him in glad thanksgiving! Even the worst get to enjoy his grace, mercy, and peace!
